Mission

Ensure a proper handling and follow up of companies’ legal cases, either directly or through Lawyers appointed.

Scope
  • Management of legal cases
  • Contracts review/validation
  • Handling of legal documentation
  • Legal compliance
  • Relationship with all stakeholders
Main activities
  • Draft responses to all legal communications
  • Follow up of all legal cases at all levels (lawyers, labor commissioner, administration, etc.)
  • Report at the company and group level on all legal cases
  • A full handling of the reporting package communicated by the group
  • Ensure availability of Board meeting minutes and General Assembly minutes
  • Handle the writing and the validations of all contracts (Job contracts/ Suppliers / MOU with communities, etc.)
  • Issue written alerts for all risks that may be encountered in CRC/MOPP decisions or activities, based on internal decisions and Environment evolution.
  • Establish a compliance report for CRC/MOPP on several contexts (concession agreement, ECOWAS trade regulation, administrative regulations, law, and mutual agreement)
