Social inclusion and community development

 

The SIFCA Group, aware of the economic impact of its agro-industrial activity, intends to share the wealth generated by its activities with the communities living around its sites, through socio-economic projects.

 

In order to ensure regular communication and transparent sharing, the SIFCA Group has set up a Permanent Framework for Dialogue (CPD) with each local community. These allow for the selection and implementation of community projects that correspond to the needs of the populations. These projects are divided into two categories:

  • ECONOMIC PROJECTS

  •  

    • An average of 15,000 private farmers (privileged partners of the SIFCA Group) are technically assisted in order to orient them towards good and sustainable agricultural practices.
    • 15 women's groups in partnership with ANADER, are supported in implementing income-generating activities
    • 91 young people from our local communities are trained in agropastoral activities at the National Institute for Professional Agricultural Training (INFPA) with an integration rate of 65%.
