Fight against COVID-19: The SIFCA Foundation trains rural communities

In order to allow rural communities to fully commit to the national fight against COVID-10, the SIFCA Foundation has signed a partnership convention with the innovation and creation center YOP.CREALAB to initiate a large training program to produce protection masks, liquid soap, sanitizers and hydro alcoholic solutions.
With this integrated and innovating protect, it wishes to give to women and youth the ability to produce, respecting applicable standards, their protection equipment, using cheap raw materials available on the market. This capacity strengthening also represents empowerment opportunities and income diversification to face the current crisis.
In the long term, over 730 people from more than eighty (80) rural communities of the departments of Dabou, Aboisso, Zuénoula, Alépé, Jacqueville, Divo, Dabakala, San-Pedro, Tabou, Bouna, Koro, Touba, Bettié and Sinématiali who will be trained throughout the Nation.
