The SIFCA Foundation presents its project « One canteen = 120 meals in my School » to the Journées Africaines de l’Alimentation Scolaire

The SIFCA Foundation participated in the 4th edition of the Journées Africaines de l’Alimentation Scolaire, that took place from February 27th to March 1st 2019 at the Eden Golf Hotel with the theme “Investing in home grown food supply to eradicated famine and support inclusive education for all including refugees and emigrants in Africa”
For three days, by managing a stand, the Foundation presented its project “One canteen = 120 meals in my School“ deployed in 2016 in collaboration with the Direction des Cantines Scolaires (DCS)
An occasion to present to visitors from 23 countries in Africa, as well as to the Vice President of Côte d’Ivoire M. Daniel KABLAN Duncan, to Mrs. Madame Kandia CAMARA, Minister of Education and Professional Training, and to official delegations of UNESCO and the African Union, the perpetuation model of canteens including training and contribution of agricultural women’s groups.
The success of this integrated model that offers a meal to students along favoring financial inclusion of rural women was described by the group women of the « Femmes vaillantes de Bongo »,  implicated in the project of Bongo village and invited by SIFCA to share their experience.
