SIFCA Foundation: Agreement signature with the women of Gboyo

As part of its "Autonomous Women - Women's Blossom" project, our Foundation has signed, on Thursday, September 20th, 2018, a partnership agreement with the Association Villageoise de Conservation et de Developpement (Village Association of Conservation and Development) of the village of Gboyo in Grand Lahou, for the implementation of a training project for the women's group of the village.

This training, provided by the Agence Nationale d'Appui au Développement Rural (National Agency for Rural Development Support  - ANADER), will allow the beneficiaries to be trained in market gardening and food crops in order to supply the village school canteen.

Mrs Henriette BILLON, General Secretary of our Foundation, urged the women of Gboyo to follow this economic development project during her speech.

This ceremony was held in the presence of the Sub-Prefect of Atoutou, the Director of the IFU of Irobo Boubo, the customary and religious leaders of Gboyo, representatives of ANADER and of the Office of Parks and Reserves of Côte d’Ivoire (OIPR), as well as a team from the IFU including Anthony Nanguy, Sustainable Development Department Chief, who, as part of the project "A bit of time for my Foundation", committed to follow this project on a voluntary basis.
