PALMCI rehabilitates a 4 classroom building of the Modern High School Fatim Sylla of Tiapoum

Wednesday April 10th is a milestone in the History of Tiapoum Modern High School, located near our Integrated Farm Unit, Ehania (PALMCI).

After the naming of the school after Mrs. Fatim Sylla, main figure of the development of the city of Tiapoum, Palmci has rehabilitated a building of four classrooms for the great joy of the students, along with studying tables and a parking space. In the “Palmci, subsidiary of SIFCA” building, they will, from now on, be able to study in classrooms named “Ehania”, “Toumanguié”, “Irobo”, and “Iboké”, after the IFU’s of PALMCI.

An opportunity that PALMCI took upon to hand out scholar kits including travel bags and school books, to the  best students, and to urge them to pursue excellency in their studies.

The ceremony, which took place in presence of administrative, custom and religious authorities of the department was also marked by the PALMCI receiving the “prix de la reconnaissance” for its many actions in favor of the rural communities.
